Adult education in Germany trains students in the first stage (university stage) of teacher training for the field of vocational education and training (more precisely: field management and economics). We deal with general education, VET and vocational teacher training (VET-teacher training). In our work, we combine our teaching activities with research and project activities to pursue our actions and pursuits. We have already designed many training programs and blended learning scenarios, eLearning and networking approaches as well as MOOCs (iversity, udemy, MOOCit etc.), we have created them and organized and provided seminars for youth education providers and trainers, teachers and tutors. Therefore, we would like to learn more from our partners about ‘sustainable green approaches’, ‘Modern e-learning approaches’, ‘Challenges with heterogeneous groups (Specific Learning Difficulties, Dyscalculia etc.) and best practices’, digitalization and strategies in the field of ‘education’ and ‘didactics’. We are very sure that the activities in our green entrepreneurship project and the focus on MOOCs, digitalization, learning and sustainability and strategy design is an excellent approach and that these are issues of European dimension. We see that the challenges of digitization, growth, strategy design, networking and the use of MOOCs and eLearning to design European approaches and learning environments in the sector are very important and need to be overcome. This is a common challenge across Europe and with a specific focus on our sector. Diversity and sustainability are also our research topics and the heterogeneity of learners is a very important aspect in Corona times and the challenges of Online Learning. We will be partners in the project and in all development and evaluation activities. We will also take part in the project development processes, participate in meetings/workshops and evaluation of the project, disseminate and popularize the results of the Dyscalculia project, share the results with other similar programs and take part in the publication strategy of the Project. We aim to coordinate cooperation between education providers, student groups and relevant project partners. Contributions will be offered in providing theoretical input on diversity, working with sustainable green economy approaches, heterogeneous groups, education, didactics, economics, strategy design, curriculum design, eLearning and course creation, pedagogy, mLearning, course and MOOC design, educator training and teacher training. Ways of working in the field of education in Germany and Europe as well as in the field of communication between theory and practice can be prepared. We have already worked on many STEM approaches, scientific approaches to new technologies and e-learning, social networking, authentic learning scenarios, diversity measures and innovative approaches. This will also enhance the process and the quality of the project.
We have a separate accounting department at our university, which is responsible for the financial management of the project in our administration and has already worked in various international, European and national project management and financing assignments.
Our research areas are education, e-Learning and digitization, didactics and teacher training. The main research topics are (a) general and school education, adult education and VET, (b) digitization, distance learning strategies, eLearning and mLearning, serious game design as well as innovative methods in eLearning (MOOC design, learning platform design, course design, virtual classrooms, etc.). ) (d) curriculum design and design of learning materials (e) entrepreneurship (see for example our former ERASMUS+ projects GET-UP -Green Entrepreneurship training – of prosperity, SHADOWs or NGEnvironment) and (f) Green Economy and sustainability (Green-4-Future, Reliable Green, GET-UP -Green Entrepreneurship training -) and (g) evaluation research. The Key Personnel of the Project will be.
